About huit
huit – translating to the number eight in French and my lucky number-melds my extensive background in retail merchandising and management with my formal training in Interior Design. I have always been passionate about textiles and design. I am inspired by the feelings that colour or texture evokes in a space. I find it fascinating how just one or two key items in a space can make you feel welcome and encourage you to stay awhile.
I have curated a beautiful composition of modern, organic and vintage pieces that adapt to every aesthetic. huit's inventory will always reflect my current obsessions - whether it be hand woven Moroccan blankets or organic hand poured candles.
My goal is for visitors to feel welcome and inspired when they visit huit. The space is inviting, light and comfortable. The cappuccino machine is ready and there will always be chilled Prosecco.
